Bed-in time of rear discs?

Default Bed-in time of rear discs?

hi all, i have just changed the fr and rr discs the fronts seem fine all the coating has gone to leave a nice clean disc surface but the rears are taking ages why is this?

Try driving backwards and stopping quickly, that will clean them.

No dont try stoping quickly, thats how you glaze them.
The rears take longer as they do not do as much braking as the rears.

Just keep puting the miles on them nice and slowly, that will be the best way.

Because 85 percent of your braking is done through your front discs. I wouldn't worry about it at all. You'd be amazed how much longer the rear pads last than the fronts.

What model year is your car, and how many miles have the pads discs done?
