I've 53 Reg UK STI and my Defi's read 1.6 bar boost, it regularly spikes to 1.7 bar and very very very rarely to 1.9 for 1/10th of a second.

It's been running like that for about 18 months now.

Not one to tempt fate but nothing has gone wrong thus so far and had Mocom check it out and remap Tuesday and they didn't lower boost after the map.

Mine is basically Stage 1, plugs, filter, sports cat, decat, straight through pipe, backbox.

I wouldn't worry at 1.3 bar at all.

Anyway in theory the Active Ignition Timing should 'help' protect anything, when mine was running bad the advance multiplyer was setting itself to 9.

Hence new map to iron out issues.
