Default PROTOTYPE WAY TO BEAT HIGH FUEL COSTS> WHAT DO YOU THINK??

There are a nice Family, that go to our local Village Pub.

They own a Garage selling Motors & Tuning them also.

None of them are pushy, wanna buy a motor etc, don't mention their business unless you do.

Tonight, I was waiting at the Bar for a Beer and, the owner was sitting next to me.

Asked me what I thought of £400 plus Road Tax next year & beyond, Rant Rant!!

He reckons they have nearly cracked an H filter system.

It will be a machine that separates Oxygen from the Hydrogen.

So, you have this Machine ( they have been supplying & fitting Gas Conversions for nearly 15 years) that you fill up with Water that creates power from the Hydrogen that this filter splits from the Oxygen??

The only reason I am posting this is, they are clever people, they drink in the same Pub as me, have sold a load of motors/tuned cars from punters in our Village never bad word from anyone.

They reckon on my Scoob 305 bhp ( I KNOW IT'S Not That MUCH) would still perform at the same rate, up to 60% less cost in VP.

What do you think???

Is it possible?

With V Power @ up to £1.19 litre round here, I am listening.

On the other hand, I don't want MR Scoob to go bang!!

Any thoughts, advice etc gratefully received.

Kind

Alan

Ask them if they can supply you with one of these:

Far cheaper option

I take it you don't think they ( people you have never met) may not be that clever after all??

Or is your attachment something that is on the market right now and, already does all this??

How have the managed to solve the age old problem of separating the hydrogen/oxygen without expending more energy than the end product?

Not saying it is impossible in fact many people have claimed to have solved the problem, however many of them have mysteriously died

Nikolas Tesla also had some interesting ideas but was also shut down by the big multinational companies of the time

I'm sorry, you've caught my sense of humour

They maybe clever, but having a market ready hydrogen fuel cell that catalytically cracks water into hydrogen and oxygen is very unlikely.

I've been involved in some of the technology being researched into doing this and we are talking years before it becomes available.

Currently the energy requirement to separate Hydrogen from water is huge

I would dearly love to be proved wrong, but we're talking about something here that's akin to Cold Fusion

Mr. Fusion by the way is a joke, it's from Back to the Future it's what Doc Emmett Brown fitted to the DeLorean and dropped a banana skin and some beer into at the end of the first film Sorry

Hmmmm the old 'car that runs on water' phenomena. We're going to need more detail and facts if this to be taken seriously. As KOT asks how do you get around the problem of separating water into hydrogen and oxygen efficiently? The filter explanation isn't plausible.

All I can say is>>>

Lots of these Water/Hydrogen stuff is available on the Net/Mail Order etc.

What made me think twice is, as I've said, I know the Family as individuals, & they have done lots of business with people in the Village.

Not Net invisible people.

By the way, I'm not stupid either.

If this works, (I'm still not sure) & we can run our motors safely & saves us huge amounts on V Power it's got to be worth looking at.

If this does happen, & I do buy one, I'll let you all know.

If it doesn't, you won't hear from me again.

Regards.
