Hi I recently put my UK STI PPP up for sale. The thing is It has the low spoiler because its what was preferred by the 40+ owner before me and coincidentally- also preferred myself...... its just a little less in you face.. or the rear view mirror

You would never believe how many people don't think its an STI. Its advertised on Autotrader and Pistonheads. I have had a phone calls probably every hours or so since I put it up for sale 3 days ago with people questioning it. What’s wrong with people- can't they see its an STI by all the other indicators-Brembos, red engine- interior, the list is endless- its even got the Log book and the chassis no on the advert. It takes one phone call to Subaru to confirm.

This has actually made me laught out loud - quite funny that its cause so much controversy. Is it an sti? is it a WRX? is it a import?- is it? is it? is it?.

The car is a SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE UK PPP................ with..... you guess it ....the low spoiler. thats it

Whats wrong with the add? It's an STi, with a low level spoiler, a chap near where I work has got an identical car but in black, full blown 04 STi but he opted for a discreet WRX spoiler

I guess it's quite unusual as most people see it as a downgrade, rather than an upgrade, as you are actually putting on something from a lesser model.

Let's face it, if you sold a WRX with a high level spoiler, no-one would say "are you sure it's not an STi"?

I think it looks mate. Looks better for not having the gold alloys too If I was after an STI i'd be giving you a call!

got to admit I completly fail to see the reason for the infraction, maybe someone wet the bed this morning and pressed the wrong button

Gosh don't start me on that one every time I open up my my user CP my blood starts to boil After recieving one myself from "Mr Invisble" . I've now paid the extra S/N + member but WTF should I be able to give an infraction without putting my name to it !!!!!!! If do give one to somebody at least I'd have the B4lls to say it was me IMHO

As you say it does make a complete mockery of the Infraction system IMHO IIRC AFAICR,
