I think on newage cars at least they replace the ECU, and generally the other changes are a new exhaust system with sports cat, decat centre and prodrive backbox. There is also an uprated Y hose under the bonnet.

Remapping refers to a tuner changing the standard map using software such as Ecutek and is specific to the individual car. Prodrive don't remap each car individually, they have developed a standard 'upgraded' map which is the same on all cars of same type and year.

I don't think there's much point getting just the ECU without a matching exhaust, and it could even cause you some problems...

escott is spot on with the details for a WRX, but I thought the STi (which Clarke172 has) also got a new fuel pump too?

On a 07 sti PPP consists of

New back box and centre section
Uprated fuel pump
Re- programed Ecu from Pro drive

Basicaly they take out your original Ecu and send it back to Prodrive.
It is replaced with a new programed Ecu from Prodrive.

You can keep all the bits they replace but they wont let you have the Ecu

If you go down that route I would advise having the Pro drive springs fitted too.
