Shark Man - is that a quote from a Sisters of Mercy song I see in your location? They were my favourite band in the world for many years :-)

Yup A few lines taken from "I want more"

Can't beat some S.o.M for when I'm feeling a bit nostalgic

Looking at the piccy...do the rest of you have google toolbar installed (knowingly or unknowingly - you can thank Adobe for that ). If the anser is yes, maybe worth a try uninstalling it?

Just the "http://pagead2/googlesyndication.com/pa" in the drop down box looks suspect. Almost like a browser hijack.

(wouldn't reccomend having any toolbar installed anyway...they track your internet usage and hog memory and resources)

i believe its due to the adds that are shown on the site, when they become unavailable they cause a 404 or general 400/500 error which in turn means you cant go back in the normal way as the browser has then detected the error of the add as a seperate visit in the browser.

Ive never noticed the problem here (i use FF anyway) but it should sort itself out when the add server becomes fully available again. possibly if surfing at work your firewall/proxy is blocking the ad which causes the error, hence a lot o fyou get it on a regular basis.
