Just a question regarding the NGK PFR6B's and it's gapping one web site says it is 1.0mm to 1.1 mm and another says 0.75mm which is it??

My car is a 1996 wrx import

At present i have denso iridium BKR6E1X pregapped the car runs fine no problem cold starting no hesitation on boost but according to the ngk website they are for a non turbo impreza but those are the plugs my mechanic fitted at my last service 6 months ago should i be worried and get the pfr6b's and would it make any difference to increase power BHP/torque??

 

hi mate the gaps on plugs are very important look at ngk website for the correct gap its on there, also them iridium plugs fitted seem to be wrong. the correct code is svk20rz8 subaru turbo application hope this helps

 

BKR6E1X are NGK, not Denso and are the iridium equivalent of the PFR6b If you're running standard boost levels, then set to 0.7/0.8mm
