Hi I am new to scoobynet and also scooby ownership.

I was wondering if anyone knew the best oil to use on a 02 WRX impreza as I have only had it for a month and am not sure which one would be the best oil to use.

This is a very sensitive area as everyone has a different opinion.

If you don't know what oil is already in it (and need to top up), use something like 10W/40 semi-synthetic or full synthetic from a known brand.

Anything from 5W/40 to 10W/60 is fine for a full oil change.

Some say you must use full synthetic, others say a semi-synthetic is fine if you change the oil regularly. It's your choice.
