I bought an Impreza ver 5 v limited but it donst have the plate with number close to gear box. How can i check it? What noumber is it? Can I do it by vin?

Someone correct me if im wrong but i didnt think v5 v/ltds had the numbered plaques, mine hasnt.

 

I think only the version 5/6 type Ra limiteds had a numbered plaque ....the type R limited versions came without a plaque.

The V5/6 cars were not V limiteds,the "v" in the title was dropped after the version 4 cars.

 

My v6 type R WRC v/ltd does have a numbered plaque,it's 394/1000.
