Smile Previous owner of my new Scoob???

Hi, all I have bought a 2003 STI, and wondered if anyone could help?
I've been looking through the service pack and found a Dyno printout from Alan Jeffries Down in Portsmouth with a read out of 317bhp. All is good and well accept the car looks totally standard Engine, Exhaust and filter etc. I phoned Alan Jeffries and he confirmed it had a ECUTEK flash done on it. But the more i look into the car i find different things ie new exhaust downpipe gasket and bolts, Dynamat arond front door speakers(standard speakers fitted) Very strange.
If anyone knows of the cars history and what mods were on it at the time i would be very grateful, Reg number **03WRX in Rally Blue with anthracite wheels it originally came from Devon
and the last owner (which has now moved) lived in Exeter.

P.S Glad to be in the Scoob gang and keep those waves comin.

Hi sorry yes plymouth, don't think it had ppp as the backbox is (was) standard sti, Yeah I think the dude that had it before me must have put it back to standard, just wondered what had been done to it. I googled the address of prev owner and it turns out its a French Delicatessen Shop on one of the main roads in Exeter. I bought it from a trader up North. Any help with its history would be appreciated.

No unfortunately Alan doesn't keep records of work carried out was very helpful though and advised it probably had a decat or maybe a hi flow cat at some point, but all cats were present when i bought it. Will try southwestscoobies.org.uk, cheers Dspeed.

How long you had it mate?

Most of the ones I know make/made around the 400bhp mark. imo 317bhp would be a ppp and a remap more or less

I've had it since start of January mate, It performs very well no problems at all. Just intrested in what had been done to it can't find any documentation to suggest it had ppp and the exhaust was defo Sti also the intercooler pipe was the factory red one and not the ppp one.

the sti of that year did not come with a different intercooler hose with the ppp as the factory one is cast and therefore didnt need changing.
