what APEXI FC do i need for my car
there seems alot to choose from, aint sure what the differences is either
ive got a p reg STI, ment to be a V4 as its got 4 pots, later bumpers but its got a old stype of dash and non digital ODO
theres a few on ebay, wanna know what i can get and why dont the others work ect ect ect
cheers for advice
ps: can i just plug it in or does it replace the ect,

Disagree, I have a p reg sti3 that came with 4 pots as standard and is facelifted but has the earlier bumpers. I would say Ginge that yours is also an Sti3 and its possible that if you`ve got later bumpers they`ve been changed

rear bumper is changed/later one the front one is a old one, forgot about that !
both boot and bonnet are alloy i think,,,,, a they sound different when you tap them compared to a normal bonnet ( though im comparing to a erst and a BMW )

Definitely sounds like an Sti 3 to me mate. Migyht be worth getting a specialist to take a look to make sure you get the right ecu Even when I had the Simtek fitted on mine, which by the way I rate very highly the tuner I used had ordered a different one to the one that was actually needed so they had to source the correct one Not thta it was a problem , just something I remember being told

Ecu is located in the area under the passengers feet , remove the four bolts securing the plate and Bobs your uncle...To be honest version 3 or 4 should be a 3 plug ecu so the Apexi D-E model is the one you want....
