Default Trip reset funcation on MY06 STI

Hi,

I reset the trip as I turned off the ignition this morning, and the screen that ususally shows the ext temp changed to a different number - any idea why or what this shows - is it oil temp or something like that?
Cheers

Changed it to read in Fahrenheit instead of Centigrade?
What is the reading now?

I think it went from 12 or so to 60, so I guess that could be it.

It's a Sped D, same as your. Great car!

No, definately not. It was the number that ususally displays the ext. temp.

The ext temp display is the same display that shows what limit you have set your rev figure at, sounds like this is what you have done as 60 would indicate a rev limit of 6000 revs.

Aye, twist it left and right to alter your rev limit and then twist again if you want the beeping sound on or off, the display indicates 'ON' if you want your beeper activated and the rev needle will go to what level you have set it at, nice little feature.

There's a separate dial for that. This was caused by me having the trip reset pushed while switching off the ignition.

Hmm, maybe it wasn't what I suggested then although the figure of 60 certainly suggests the 6k rev limit.........

Anyone else with any ideas?
