Smile VORTEX EXHAUST?

I want to buy a Jap style back box to replace my Prodrive one, does anybody know if there is any difference between the Vortex sold by Scoobyworld and the Haywood & scott version both made by H&S? I'm talking about power and noise. Cheers, Mick.

Virtually no gains to be had from chaging a backbox power wise.

The Afterburner has a spiraled baffle inside the backbox which is designed to help the gas flow extraction, I've got one along with the straight though centre and it sounds

I had the tsl firestorm fitted then had it on the rolling road and it gave me an extra 20 bhp without anything else.

If u look on the Hayward and scott website they list the extra Bhp from fitting one of there own backboxes as 2-3Bhp so i fail to see how a TSL Firestorm (or any backbox for that matter) can give u a extra 20 Bhp

Back to topic. Where can I get a cheap-ish new Vortex or Ninja 2 backbox from? Ebay dont seem to have them, unless someone can find me a link or some "words" to type in the search box? Tried everything but nothing is for sale.

Anything cheaper than the £250 on Scoobyworld would be great.

Thanks guys

keep ya eyes peeled on the for sale forums. i just picked up a b/box and centre section for less than that (£250 scoobynet price that is,) well impressed with it and it isnt as loud as what i thought it might be! Just the right noise level in my opinion.

seek and ye shall find...LOL
