can some please put a picture up of a facelift my00 showing me where the engine number is ..

cos i have looked and looked and cant seem to find

Is it not just behing the alternator area?

have looked twice now , but no look

should i be able to see it without moving anything??

what should it look like , how many digits, letters ...etc

ok so found a pick ..can someone point me where this bloody engine number is

yes i know its not standard uk turbo ..

some one must be able to put an arrow were i should be looking
and also what the nimber looks like ...i.e. letters , digits

It's under the intercooler on MY04 (ie got to take it off to see it). Can't remember/be arsed to tell you what format the numbers look like

I thought it was on vin plate to (nsf suspension turret)..?

Under intercooler, in the place indicated by the red circle, there's a flat web (about 10mm wide running L-R) on top of the block (near where a knock link would be fitted). On mine it looks like it was pin punched in (dot matrix printer style)..

Im searching for the engine number too on mine, found some numbers and letters in various places but non look anything like whats been posted up
