looking to get a roof scoop on my blobeye
seen a few scoobies with them, really like them. Anyone had an experiance with fitting one? do you need to drill through the roof or does a bit of gripfill/hard as nails do the job??

Had a scoop put onto mine - glued and grilled roof (bolt goes into interior light fitting, so you don't see it), but it is easily the worst thing i have done to my scoob, the wind noise is horrific and once on the car really difficult to get rid of.

It will actually slow your car down due to the increased drag coefficient, create loads of unnecessary wind noise and make you look like a freak when you have to explain to your mates why you put it there..
Admittedly the functional ones do look cool, but for Gods sake if you are going to get one of these things fitted go the whole hog and spend the £350 or so required to get a real one that allows air into the cabin fitted..
