have these on my00 uk do they have a fog light in them or do i need to add one to the bumper , press the switch on the dash and it lights up green but cant see any fog light come on , on the cluster

no fog light ....most people re-wire one of the reverse light as a fog light . or as you said add one on the bumber

Hi,

I believe the STi rear lights don't have a fog light as they are only on Imports not UK models. For example the P1 has UK rear lights with the fog light in them as its a UK car but the Type R which is the "same" type of model has STi lights with no fog light, hence the fog light on the rear bumper. What some people do is replace the drivers side reverse light for a red fog light bulb and "Ta-Dah" you have a built in fog light. I have a fog light on the bumper but it doesn't bother me, its all down to personal prefence really!!

you said imports have them but the lights were brought from i think (have reciept somewere) scoobyworld ..

Yeah, and they were either imported from Japan or they came off an imported car. I don't know where there would be a wiring diagram, but I'm sure if you call for help someone will reply!!!!

all sorted thanks ..

only problem is i have replaced the reverse bulb for a 21w red one and it looks very pink

do i need a special bulb i.e. led or something ???
