Remap needed for UK fuel

Soon, If all goes well, I should be the owner of a JDM Sti type R....

When it comes over from Japan will I need to remap it for UK fuel? Or will V-power be OK?

i have run mine for the last 4 years on shell optimax then v power and millers octane booster with no problems

As above. Although spending hundreds of pounds on a remap is better than thousands on an engine rebuild...better to be safe than sorry.

Does it work out cheaper just to use octane booster then?

How much octane booster do you need, is it expensive?
