Im looking to buy a MY99 or 00 impreza (dodge tax increase ) around may/june time and have been checking out autotrader.

I have around 5k to spend and have seen a few nice MY99 ones with fsh and decent mileage within that price range, would you spend more or should I be able to get a nice example for around 5k?

Also does anybody know of any good garages near Grimsby for servicing etc?

5k is about the going rate as far as i can tell! i have an MY00 and payed 6.5k about 16 months ago!

paid 5k for my uk 2000 inc a new clutch (£350 fitted), 70k miles, FSSH etc

MY00 is there for the £5000.

Lots about, pick a UK without Mods., few owners, good service and mature owner and you can't go wrong.

I picked my 1999 up for £5550 with a new cam belt fitted as part of the price by the garage.
