Thumbs up

Timing Belt Kits - Subaru

bought from this lot before, they were reccomended to me.

The kit i got was manufactured by a top quality company who supply kits to the car manufacturer (Pug in my case) - only at 50% of the cost.

website has a search facility.

A timing belt is vital to the engine - who cares if a genuine Subaru belt costs an extra £30?

Pete, just because it is no gen does not automatically mean it is lower quality.

as stated my pug belt was from the same manufacturer (either conti or pirelli from memory) as Pug supply according to the independant specialist whom fitted it.

Ha Ha Ha ... makes me laugh this.

People on here spend/waste ££££££££'s on mickey mouse Oil with a fancy name - when they don't need it, at all.

Then, try and cut corners on vital engine components ..... I'm not saying these are inferior, just that it's not worth the risk - is it?

yes but this guy is after the kit.i think the genuine pre tensioner alone costs around 110 quid, pully's are around 70 each and then you buy the belt.i bought all the geniune timing belt parts before along with a top rad hose from ggr and iirc my invoice was over 500 quid!...then i had to pay a man to fit it all, lucky he told me i was nuts and told my to return most of the bits apart from belt and pre-tensioner which i did need as it was weeping

i always get genuine stuff because i believe your better covered if something goes wrong. with the subaru stuff your covered for 3 years or 60,000 miles on a parts warranty, i bet the other makes don't cover you for as long
