Default Complete newbie needs advice

Hi Guys

I ahve just put a 300 quid deposit on a 2000 wrx sti ra. I am presently live in NZ but moved from the uk last month.

The problem I have is I know nothing about these cars, i used to drive a rev 3 turbo mr2 approx 320bhp, so I am used to quick cars, when I test drove the car it seemed really tight in great conditione and it pulled like there was no tommorow and it certainly matched my two for power. The car has done 126000 km is there any big services I would need to have done with it or any advice you can give about the car?

I really need a lot of help about the car. what to look for some stats would be nice too about power etc?

Thanks
russ

get a cambelt service, with fully synthetic oil. only use high octane fuel. find a station close to your home and know where they are as your only going to get about 9 mpg (13kmpg) to a maximum of 19 mpg (27kmpg).

presume its got a roof vent, dccd control, water spray etc?
