Default What are the differences?

I have been looking at an 03 plate WRX STi uk spec for 12k but i noticed that the dials seem to be different on the same car but an 05 plate,

What are the differences between these cars? i assume the 05 plate is like a facelift of that model.

Any help would be great as it will help me decide which type to go for

05 models have a significantly revised and improved chassis. Main feature is longer/wider (?) wheelbase and adjustable centre diff. Think it has helical LSdiff/s aswell, meant to be an improvement but I've no idea what it is!!

Also has different dials and steering wheel boss

Might be other things also.

For MY05 they changed the wheels (better looking & bigger footprint), made the hubs bigger to cope with it, added DCCD, changed the seat fabric to give more grip, new centre console & dials, revised suspension & geometry, wider rear track via arch add-ons. Probably other things too but can't remember.
One thing to note is ppp. If it was done pre 2005 then it will be a different map. Prodrive made some changes in 05 to improve it (I wouldn't buy my 2005 car until assured that the map was improved).
My car is for sale & you would only need £16k if I left all the goodies on it!!!
