Default Needing help- Which Scooby?

Hello, im new! My names Natalie i currently drive a 210bhp astra turbo and am looking to upgrade to a scooby shortly..............i just dont know which one

I caught between the t-plate older classic shape and the newer bugeye 51 plate onwards. I can see pros and cons for both and im stuck on the fence!

Are there any significant differences between them? Any info welcome!

Cheers,

Nat

Welcome to SN,

Since you're a girl, I'll warn you now, this predominatly male forum will be all over you for pictures!

In a nutshell, the classics and new ages differ in a few important respects

Classics are considerably lighter, which results in better performance at a given power level and more agility. However, the new ages counter with a stronger chassis, much better refinement and a significantly better interior.

Can't really recommend a model untill you tell us what you want out of the car and how much you have to spend.

PS Can we have a picture please!

PPS Pete, if this is you on a wind up, I'm cutting off your stash of knocklink jokes!!

Hey,

Thanks for the info, my gut feeling would be the classic shape and if they have a the better performance- im sold!

Not bothered what the interior looks like tbh, im not buying a 200bhp + for what it looks like on the inside!

They seem to keep there value well which is a pain when your buying, but ive spotted three im really interested in so spending this weekend whizzing up and down the M1

Cheers again,

Nat

P.S- Im sure me and my husband can pose for a pic yes!!!!
