Default dick just reversed into me

Pulled into a parking spot outside the bank and there was a car parked up just past the parking spot on the pavement with the driver sat in it.As i drove in he watched me in his mirror. After about 5 mins he put his car into reverse and started to reverse towards my car and i sounded the horn and he stopped and just nudged the front bumper popping the Sti insert out.A traffic warden witnessed it and I gave the driver(a minority) a few words on driving skills. No visible damage once the insert pushed back in.The traffic warden told the driver to be more careful and could he move his car off of the pavement as it was illegal and then walked off .WTF is wrong with people as no apology was given and the predicted i dont understand look was all i had to reason with....

Could be an auto. Someone reversed into me at traffic lights in a big Audi. Fortunately I was in my Fiesta which can actually take a bump unlike the Scoob! He said he was just away with the fairies.

I remember when some old boy reversed into my car some years back, I didn't give him a mouthful or anything, but looking back I probably came accross as pretty p*ssed off.

I found out a few years later he'd died from Alzheimers, and had been in the early stages when he reversed into me!

Still, I suppose he wouldn't have remembered.

Sad, but then should he have been on the road. Forgetting how to drive could be problematic when in the driving seat.

Watched an elderly bloke nudge park in tesco the other day. Put his tow bar through the front grill of the car behind twice. At least the owner of the damaged car saw it and got the old guys details. Statutory testing at age 65 methinks?

Totally agree with that. Maybe start from 60 and every 2-3 years thereafter.

A few months back i had a woman reverse into the side of me (back bumper and panel dented) i was letting somebody out a space in a car park and felt a wack just remember keeping cool and just got out and politely asked for her details which she gave me.

Im good freinds with my local body repair specialist so we got it sorted quick and i got the whole side of the car resprayed for sweet f.a.

Last week Stonebridge Island A45 NEC, Birmingham. I saw a Honda Accord take the left hand lane to carry straight on, it ran into the side of a tipper lorry. Both parties stopped and the Accord driver proceeded to blame the lorry driver.

Being an upstanding piller of the community, I stopped further up the road, walked back to the arguing factions, pointed to the Accord driver and said it's your fault, you failed to take the correct lane; I then gave the lorry driver my details and left the scene.

Heard nothing since, but hey ho

The fact is that these tw@ts have no respect. A guy I work with was sat in his mg zt outside tesco and this car parked next to him. The women opened her door and banged it into his car making a small dent. She didn't say anything so my mate got out of the car and politely pointed this out to her.

The thing is that these people can't be bothered opening their doors carefully because it's to much of an effort.

I try to park my car as far away from other cars as possible. But always when I return I end up with some c*nt in a people carrier diagonally parked a couple of inch away from my car.

I always use my wife's car when we go to the supermarket.

I had a chap reverse into me trying to get into a parking space. I could not go backwards as it would have meant reversing (blind) into a busy main road.

I hit the horn as soon as i saw his reversing lights come on, he just reversed back and smashed the fogs/brackets on a (my companies actually - who i had been with for some 3 weeks) brand new car.

He got out apoloigised and gave me his number - old chap, well spoken and plesant.

Great i thought!

Later when i called him to get his details he changed his story and said i had driven into him!

It was my insurance that got clobbered just because of this lying irresponsible POS.

I dont understand why people lie about hitting others? They made a mistake.. own up to it !!

I slid into the side of one of my mates cars. Cost me £600, my mistake and I followed it up with body shop to make sure it was all ok.

Not a scratch on the Scooby btw... built like a tank

The daft thing is that as a country, we've got better driving standards than most of the rest of the world......

Doesn't make it right, but it does highlight that when we do get bumped, the response is more "toned"
