Hi,im selling my 03 sti this summer but i have the problem with the rear suspension clunking somtimes.I dont want to sell it like this but at the same time i dont want to spend a fortune if its going.Is there any other options that aren't going to cost the earth but solve the clunking.Thanks for any help given.

Rear suspension clunking/banging is a common fault on 03,04,05 sti's.You could try spraying the shock with silicon spray(under the black rubber) that worked on mine for a while but in the end i had to have the shock replaced.

I had the same problem when I came to sell my 53 STI. In the end, I traded it in and the garage didn't seem to notice. I'd have felt guilty selling it privately I must admit...
