V7 STI - Sports CAT and REMAP
Hi All,
If I replaced the standard downpipe cat with a Sport CAT, would the car needed mapping for it?
I know that if it is fully decatted then definately yes, more so on the 02STI's...

I wouldn't say need to, but if you have a mind to improve the performance of the car by fitting a sports cat, we all know you'll want to!

I left mine for two (wasted !) years, you may get a CEL coming on as the cat's performance is non-standard....
BUT you will be wasting about 45 bhp for the fuel you are using !
Most give 330bhp + with a re-map, 285 ish without, and just as thirsty !
