To cure boredom I've had a bit of a play around in photoshop and whipped up a few (48 variants) wallpapers for you all. They're in both 1024x768 & 1280x1024 resolutions and can be found by going to http://photos.smktech.com.au:58885/ and then clicking on "Subaru Impreza STi and WRC Wallpapers" which is down in the bottom-left hand corner.

Enjoy,

Gerrod

If you cant get to it, it's most likely that you're using an extremely old browser, your proxy is converting the %20s to spaces, or you don't have external access to port 58885.

Yeah.. you'll find one or more of three problems is most likely occuring.. a) you have no access to port 58885 b) the proxy is converting the %20s to spaces c) your browser isnt supported ..

I'm trying to get to it using Netscape and it doesn't work. Is that what you mean by unsupported browsers? What are they like anyway, worth a look?

Pretty much.. you're better off using IE5.0 or later.. the HTML rendering engines in IE5.0+ are in my opinion second to none when regarding speed/accuracy..

Question

Eliot,

They shouldnt be too big for your monitor. Have you tried setting your desktop resolution to 1024x768 or 1280x1024?

Also, you're better off to use the one which you've got your desktop resolution instead of using the "stretch" option in windows which can do nasty things to the image quality...

Personally I think this is the best wallpaper:

http://photos.smktech.com.au:58885/getpicture.php?album=Subaru%20Impreza%20STi%20and% 20WRC%20Wallpapers&picture=1280pinkwrx_wallpaper.j pg&preview=1

(You might have to cut and paste that rather large URL together)

It's a bit easier on the eyes than the studio shots which have all the white in the background.
