MY99 - 00 WRX...
So the last of the classic facelifts.
I see them in Dark Mica and Grey often.
But did they build any in the classic mid metalic rally blue?

IIRC, Sonic Blue was only available on the MY98 (Terzo, I think, and of course 22B)

The MY99 Dark Blue Mica and the MY00 was Deep Blue Mica (or it might be the other way round - but they were different!)

Might have been available as a JDM WRX in Sonic - not sure if it was the exact same colour though - as proven in post 2

I know a chap who imported a sonic blue rhd, brand new from Belgium (from memory) He was having it serviced at the same time as me on early 2000, his first service and complaining he had to pay (it was a while back but stuck in my memory as i love the colour) i had a DBM MY99 and wished it was sonic blue so asked him how he got one...

Yep - That is the colour
And so WRX sti and WRX RA both come in that colour by the looks of those ads. But a standard late WRX? If any of you lot see one let me know.

I had a standard MY99 Turbo in Sonic Blue which was imported via Northern Ireland but was UK registered and dealer sourced. Sold to Listers Worcester in 2004 so not sure where she is now...

 

Hi mine is a euro import (holland) MY00 turbo 2000 as I wanted sonic blue 74F and not the std DBM UK ones
