borla manifold and an uprated exhaust and a filter. Reallistically thats about all you can do without spending big money. Check out .:ImprezaSport.net:. too

Hi there, I had a sport as a courtesy car on saturday while my car was at a specialist. I would say apart from getting the gasses flowing better(induction kit, stainless exhaust system), stick to suspension modifications and brakes. I found the sport a really good car to drive and you could make it even better by upgrading suspension. You're not going to gain huge amounts of power anyway(apart from what I mentioned above, but they affect throttle response more than giving you a considerable power gain.

Anyway...get it handling and braking better, and you'll enjoy driving it alot more. Leave it at that, and when you want more power, save and buy a turbo, as it'll be alot more cost effective.

Get a Turbo, you'll never look back.

Except to see what you just passed!!

Good advice.

Good Luck.

Also save all the bits you take off and if/when you decide to move to a turbo, put it back to standard and use the suspension parts you`ve got for the turbo
