washing my car today i noticed that the induction cone is right under my mini scoop and was getting wet. Is there anyway of having a air box fitted with a cold air feed with a fmic. Has any body done anything to combat this problem. Also would i need a remap if i want back to original box
Thanks neil

If search worked properly, you would find dozens of thraeds on this, yes its a common problem, sucking in water isn't good for the MAF or power, and the wet filter is pretty restrictive anyway, most get a small shiled put above the filetr so any water coming in doesn't land on the filter but drips off the shield either side of it!

easy solution is to get a hydrosheild as it lets the cone breath but keeps water out. Had an injen one fitted to mt cai in a 2006 civic type r here ya go Injen Hydro Shield
