Just got back from almost a week in Monaco. What an absolutely fantastic rally to spectate on. I will write a Novel soon just to get things started here are a few pictures from the rally. I took over 450! Cheers Simon for getting me in on the inside of a WRC event, absolutely brilliant stuff from the moment i landed in Nice.
Night on the Col de Torini, one of the most famous places in WRC history. I have always wanted to see this and the atmosphere was everything i hoped it would be. Awesome.
Top of the Col de Torini in daylight. Pinizi almost stuffed it and Colin did a 360 right in front of me. It was on TV i believe. LOL

Great pictures - love the light effects, but like Burr says, makes the car look likes it's going backwards. (Or did you take them when people where reversing out of a ditch? )

other stuff including my trusty steed, picie of Tiery Boutson(ex F1 driver) on the Col de Torini, simon de bonkers, Some of the GP track in Monaco plus the usual stuff. Scenery and roads were awesome, handbrake turns galore was esential for fast motoring.

Glad you like them.
I wouldnt know where to start to do this kind of thing pro, be a brilliant way to make a living though. I would think it's quite difficult to make money from this, there are hundreds of Pro's on the rally.
I didnt have any special passes during the event, i just went where i wanted to and no-one bothered me at all. I kept out of their way so they had no reason to though. I think the French were quite relaxed about the whole thing, i cant see me getting away with the scrutineering shots on the Rally GB!
I took loads of shots in the Peugeot area as Burns PA, Clare (woman in sheapskin jacket) invited me there as i knew her a bit from Rally GB2000, we met in Nice airport and she remembered me from back then.
There are lots of things i saw i didnt photograph as that would have been out of order. I spent Friday in Rally HQ helping with the WRC.COM timing, etc with S de B. You dont take pictures in places like that! I also spent sunday night in a nightclub with lots of the drivers/team members and i think its a bit crap taking pictures of them in a social surrounding where they just want to chill out.
