Question

I'm swapping my tyres tomorrow for F1's and its clear from the uneven wear on the present nearside front tyre that the tracking needs sorting. I'm taking the car to a local tyre place who I used before and are ok, but they're not Impreza experts. Can anyone please tell me if the tracking procedures for the Impreza differs from other 4WD vehicles?

Phil, if you're in the west midlands - get to SilverLine in Warwick (or Banbury - the banbury lot do Prodrives wheels so they can't be bad!). They did the 4W alignment for both our Scooby and old FTO (took them about 1.5 hours to do that one with it's multi-link rear suspension that changed camber when you changed the toe and vice-versa). They're pretty good on price as well - £45 for the full 4 wheel aligment. the manager there has got a white WRX.

cheers
Andy
