Default is this a catalytic converter? see pic?
is this a cat see link, why is it on my 03 blob eye jdm sti? as they dont have a centre cat but mine does . need no know asap guys as iam ordering my downpipe for twin scroll tomz but if it is a cat it cant be a twin scroll turbo can it???? http://i29.tinypic.com/smsro3.jpg

shine a torch in there, if there is a honeycomb then it is a catalytic converter

yes it is like a honeycomb, but do you know why its on my car as my car dont have a centre cat, this cat bolts onto my downpipe?

It looks like the 2nd cat that the ppp kit removed on my 03sti.
