Default Water Leak in Boot

Been having water leaks in my boot for the past 2 weeks and narrowed it down to the boot seal rubber, any one any idea how much I should expect to pay for this from a dealer? Also what sealent stuff would I use when putting the new rubber on?

Cheers

Have you tried re-sealing the rear lights, when I was getting water into my boot I took them both out and put a silly amount of sealent round them...... Done the trick lovely

Sounds like you've found the leak but for what its worth (in case other people have this issue) I kept finding water in the boot of my old 96 WRX. I felt the rubber seal which was wet and subsequently replaced (think it was about 30 quid from a breakers!). The next week I looked in the boot and there is an inch of water underneath the spare wheel! I read on here about the lights and sealed them. Still water....

Turned out the bracket that holds the spare wheel had somehow worn and left a 2mm gap at the bottom and was letting water in. When Ive had a close look the previous owner had tried to fill it with some gooey **** which had since perished. Did nothing for my golf clubs I can tell you....

Im sure its just the seal but might be worth checking before you buy.

Cheers
