clicking sounds like tappets or injectors. nothing to worry about if that is the case.

it was coming on only on corners from the rear wheel area, and when it came you could feel it pulling on the car... it is really confusing thanks jim.

Thats a good price at 3k. Check the obvious like exhaust clamps, wheel nuts, rear pads, debris inside the tyre like a broken screw/nail. Failing that ask the owner/dealer to rectify. If it was grinding, then you may think the diff, but if its just clicking, i doubt much could be wrong. If lo profile tyres are fitted then you get more road noise exaggerated through the wheels.
Its worth exploring all avenues.

It has new yokohama tyres fitted but the tread is like something you see on a 4x4 jeep with big chunks on them, their was a lot of road noise but it has just has tein (i think thats what he said) suspension fitted maybe it just needs a little tinkering with. P.S. the car was imported last august and is showing 81000 kilometers do diffs start to wear at this age or should i go ahead and just put some good oil in once i get it home thanks jim.

If you seriously have doubts either walk away or if you think its worth it, spend 200 odd quid to have an AA inspection. Nobody would blame you for being cautious.

Its your hard earnt money after all
