Default Del Prado Collection Die-Cast Scoobs

In the last few weeks I've picked up a couple of 1:43 scale cars on my local market stall, and I thought I'd mention them because I think they're excellent - especially for the money. The first one is called an "Impreza GT Turbo Coupe" which as anyone can see is a very nice 22B!

This little item cost six pounds sterling.

The second one I got yesterday and is a superb Burns/Reid classic WRC.

And the princely sum asked for this item? Three of your English pounds. There appears to be a bloke on ebay with a small stock of these, and he seems to suggest that they are part of an aborted magazine collection. They are well above the normal quality for a "toy".

I think they're brilliant.

Yep - you can't really see from these pics, but they're not generic interiors - they look pretty much as they should be (nasty plastic, LOL ). The WRC has a roll-cage in it. The "22B" is LHD for some reason, but I'll let that go - were there any LHD versions made? Was there a "GT Turbo Coupe" with the WRC-style bodyshell? Perhaps somebody out there knows.
