Thumbs down

That's a shame. I'd have expected more from them ...

Here we go again, this is the problem of deleting threads instead of locking them.

Bit unfair starting another thread as the last thread was replid to by the said garage once they were informed of it.
The response was very appologetic explaining it from the other side. They did not try to get out of it and admited full responsablity. Although an employee of theirs was driving it, it was caused by a 3rd party who didn't stop. Peoples responses after the post were mainly on the garages side and i think made Type-r look bad. His intention set out as just a question to the community but got blown out of proportion and i think ended up with him demanding extra and if not getting it sufficiently for him self and the community effectively said i'll try and ruin you (Blackmail bascally) Anyway most people seemed to think that the 6K claim was a joke. The damage although bad was not at all as bad as the thread made you think and looked repairable. Anyway type-r got his car written off as he wanted although it did look easily repairable for far less.

Any way i've never used them but the way every one stood up for them and the quality of their work they have had done, I would have no problems using them.
If you get hit by a third party you claim off their insurance for the damage and curtesy car etc, same here tell the insurance company what you want if they say no then your not intitled to it. If you go to the third party threatning them then it may well effect your claim.

Accidents do happen!
