Does the Catalunya have the early or late type dash and steering wheel?

Looked at a met green 4 door turbo yesterday at a main dealers it was a 99 t with 51k and fsh. It was up for 13.5k but they said I could have it for 13 as I have no part exchange. What are your experiences with the Subaru "Proven Warranty" They said it covers the clutch if you havent abused it. Is this correct?

The Catalunya had the early dash and wheel.
How do they know of you've abused the clutch, or indeed the previous owner?

 

It doesn't have the very early dash or the late dash but it is more early than late.

The major change of dash with sunglasses cubby hole, white gauges etc from the Forester was introduced on the MY98. It also got the Momo steering wheel. The Cat was MY97 so misses out.

Changing from MY96 to MY97 there were some changes to the steering wheel, but it isn't a great (if any improvement). The heater controls also changed a bit. Biggest interior improvement was the seats.
