I would just like to say thanks for everyone at Power Engineering for accomodating 35 cars for the RR session today.

Merv and Chris really are top blokes.

Cheers guys

Yeah thanks to the chaps at PE for accomodating us at the very last minute.

Thanks also Dave for organising the event, it's just a shame I missed the bacon butties , but at least the doughnuts made up for it!

I can't argue with my figures either!

Good time had by all I think - Cheers Dave for organising it, and PE for running a smooth day.

UK98, Scoobysport backbox & K&N 57i induction kit

246 bhp & 221 lb/ft torque.

Be interesting to see what difference the PE twin d/p and straight through centre section make for the next run!

Wow! 298 is impressive, but what happened to the torque? In real world driving it`s the torque that gives the grins.
Had the Link fitted today, will let people know what I think after a few days. Driving home around the North Circular Rd did not allow an evaluation! Too taken up with watching those Lambda Link lights flashing back and forth, wondering what the f**k it all meant and praying the Knocklink didn`t flash!! (It didn`t)
Looks like you had a good day!
Regards JohnD

Hi JohnD, good to hear that the link install has gone well.

Did you go for a decat/resonated center section in the end? Keep me informed wth your thoughts.... I may head down this route some day.

I was well pleased with the 298bhp, last time I ran at PE I got 275bhp (with Magnex single dump DP, BPM Center and BPM Twister3 BB), this run was completed with a BPM Twin Dump DP, HKS Center and HKS Hiper BB.... power has increased a fair bit!

Last run at PE got 247 lb/ft, this run achieved 242 lb/ft... hard to say why the TQ is so low, I would expect more... it was mentioned today that perhaps my torque had not been calculated correctly (calculated at 4000 rpm rather than 3800 for the WRX)? Justin also ran today, basicaly the same car as mine, basicaly the same mods (exhaust/filter), his power was about 288 and his tq was 270+ !!

What does everyone think?
