Default Manual or Auto

Hi all i am able to buy another subaru and was woundering what the diffrence between the auto and manual is like to drive. I have heard that you some times dont have the power there when you need it in an auto. I have a golf clipper which is automatic but cant compare really so anybody driven both
Thanks Neil

We had an auto kicking about that my brother bought as part of an import batch. It was actually great to drive about in, but thirsty as hell as the temptation was to drive it in a hooligan fashion all the time. ( Pedal on right = switch, and pedal on left used by left foot ) I'd only have one if someone else was paying for it, and we tuners all run a mile at the mere mention of mapping one. Even Andy F went "pfff" at the very suggestion!

I have an Auto.. never need to come off boost when changing gear which is nice easy to drive slow, easy to drive fast but yes they are't half thirsty. I have a Polar Performance chip in mine from scott T and it works fine.. so you can modify them

Best bet would be to test drive the both
