I've never used them but RC Developments in Warrington seem to have a reputation - website is http://www.rcdevelopments.com

Grasshopper Motorsport are in Leigh, near Wigan, and were offering a group buy on exhausts recently - website is http://www.grasshopperprosport.co.uk

Hope this helps,

Alex

How about a boost controller instead - a stage 2 conversion from RC has a APEXi boost and fuel controller, sparks, fuel pump. Means you don't have to alter / replace the ECU and you can take it off to put on another car.

Have a look on their Website!

Dam good idea regarding apexis though they are pricy. Last time I looked boost was £460 and fuel was £200 i think.

Saying that a ecu would be miles more expensive.

You defo need someone in the KNOW to set them up for you like RC.

My mates should be out of there next week at last been there about 5 months. Should be worth it though with the power it's going to be producing.

Thumbs up

(crypt) He hasn't got a Makinen has he?

The APEXi stage2 from RC isn't cheap, but considering the benefits - dam good! You can get the mechanical one for 150 instead (although it's nowhere near as funky and you can't remove it as easily).

Nope it's a scoob, pretty wild one at that you can see it on rc's website "scotts impreza" or twas in members gallery before xmas with a spec sheet some would say fugly rear end i think it's simply differant.

Should be nearing 400 bhp now however have to wait till it's run in and rolling roaded to be sure.

You wanna be getting the apexis very funky looking.

Topper,

I live just down the road from you in Astley and I hadn't heard of RC Developments until just before Xmas. They've been mentioned quite a few times in the drivetrain section and people seem very happy with the work they do, so I'll probably be using them in the very near future for mods like an induction kit and de-cat down pipe for my UK scooby.
That 400 bhp sounds exepensive but very tempting!

Get a Dawes Device Manual boost controller.

My MY99 UK Turbo, standard ecu, full decat magnex and ITG got 266bhp and 257lb/ft torque at PE yesterday. Running nice and rich with no det/knock so I can up it another 1Psi

27 quid from America!!!
