i had decat downpipe, and centre on a blob wrx and ran for 8months with no problems that i was aware of!!! only things that can happen is that you may get your /CEL come up due to not monitoring the lamda properly due to the change in emissions, or somehting like that!!!!!

Coddy220 Do you have to put the cat back in for the Mot? I have 1 cat left in mine and I want to remove it but I dont wan the hassle of putting the cat back in every mot time.
Cheers mate.

best to remap a decatted classic, can be run without and no issues but it can vary from car to car with lean running and overboost problems, some are okbut its a chance to take, remappng will get the best performance from running no cats at all.... as for the mot no need to refit the downpipe cat,get a uk center cat and fit that for the mot and remove it afterwards,as long as the car is up to operating temp and the cat is hot it will pass no problem,4 bolts 15 min job.
