Thumbs up

Well the news says that Shell will knock 4 pence a liter off today and thinks all others will follow but does that include super unleaded, lets hope so.

Darren.

Darren,

i think that it _does_ include SUL, but it is one of these cleverly worded press release type statements. I think that it only applies to motorway service (and similar) prices, so Shell get brownie points for reducing the price (which the Government wanted) and also for stopping the "rip off" on motorways as criticised by the consumers association.

It is only 250 stations that will be reduced, from (according to their own web-site) 83.9 to 79.9 (NUL) and 89.9 to 86.9 (SUL).

I wonder why NUL was only 77.9 at most garages in the NorthWest over Christmas??

Maybe the Government is too thick to realise that NUL hasn't been 83.9 since the (so called) petrol crisis!!!

Oh, and note the fact that Shell say in BIG letters that they are reducing prices by 4p per litre, but SUL is coming down by only 3p and diesel is only reduced by 2p!!
