Default Servicing items where from?

Hi all,

Will be getting my car serviced (majour) for the first time at my local specialist garage shortly, i would like to buy the parts myself as they always seem to buy expensive parts which i could source much cheaper.

My car is a Sti version 4 type R. with 50 000miles just reached

I already have a oil filter and washer

Will need a cambelt and whaterever else is required for a cambelt change

Also thinking of some spark plugs.

Car is dead standard apart from exhaust and dump valve but in future will be modding.

Thanks in advance, im not sure where to source import parts from!

The cambelt is the same for the import & uk engines!

You should only pay about 50-60 quid for the belt only.I dont think they come in kits, you have to buy the tensioner seperate (£100ish),if i needs replacing.

Try this place, been using them a while, cheap and decent quality parts, the cambelt kit o got for my pug cost less than 1/2 the price of the 'genuine' from the stealership - the guy who fitted it said it was exactly the same kit in a different box!
