Default Can you 'rent' garage ramps?

Just a quick q as I need to change the tranny fluid & filters (not a Scoob!) and really need a proper ramp to do this as its a bit fiddly and time consuming to do a proper job. Seem to remember Halfrauds let you rent bays in their garages once?

Think with modern Health and safety laws insurance would be a nightmare for the firm involved. Who would be liable if you drove your car off the ramp?

Depends on the garage, a couple of local garages offer the service. I have used one, came in at £25 per hour, they had additional charges for using their tools and you were supervised.

The other garage was similar at £30 per hour, your own tools and they left you to it.

I wouldnt be bothering at £25 to £30 an hour - kills the gain (well unless you are paying main stealer labour rates of £100ph I guess). Good Indies charge half that. D
