Default flat 4 online

has anybody ever ordered any parts from flat 4 online,if so were you like me and they never turned up.the story is i ordered a set of headers and a silicon inlet hose back in october.2 days later i looked at my account which said the hose had bin shipped but the headers where being prepared.after a week and no hose i emailed them to c where the hose had got to.he said he,d look into it after another week it turned up but still no headers.so ikept waiting and emailin and phoning but never gettin through, eventually after 5 week i couldnt wate any longer so i cancelled them and he said he would refund my money.i looked on his site for refund times and it said it could take up to 28 days so after waiting over a month i emailed again he said he would send it asap now another 2 week has passed and ime wondering whether ime going to see any money at all.i meen how long does it take to put money into a paypal account cos every time ive done it its only taken me a couple of minutes not 6 weeks.advice on what action i could take would be appreciated.

agreed with above

one of our local members had to wait 12 weeks for a turbo, which when ordered he was told it was on "next day delivery"

i will never use them myself, after hearing of many, many unsatisfied customers

I've only just got my order from flat4online it was nothing special just an Apexi IK.But still had to wait nearly one and a bit months for the next day delivery!!! this was after weekly emails and I even recived a dispatch email saying that it would turn up within two days,a week later and still no gear I sent him yet another email and with that it turned up next morning.

I wont be using flat4online again.

Hope you get sorted with your refund mate.

the reply he gave me last when i asked where my refund had got to was that the headers where on order from the manufacturer so he could work as fast or slow as i liked but they wouldnt have come any quicker well maybe so but my refund isnt on order from the manufacturer is it its bein delt with by himself.

I ordered a fuel pump from them.

Took about 2 weeks to arrive despite them saying that it had been dispatched after a couple of days.

You will probably get your items, just need a lot of patience.

Seems to be a mixed bag of those that have had no problems and those that have.... only ordered the once and received the item two days alter as promised,i know he is a one man band operating from his mums i believe? sometimes operators like these get overloaded with orders and a backlog builds up,no excuses though, you pay for goods and they are promised then you should get them in good time.....

Probably supplier problems more like. Not the same but I used to operate a computer parts business from my bedroom and the biggest problem I had were with suppliers failing to deliver.

Probably no where to store the stock so he/she is only ordering from suppliers when there is a demand i.e a customer order. Always tricky with businesses like these, why if I was doing something like this again I would make sure to hire out some warehouse space to store preordered stock.

I dont think that honesty is an issue, just lead times and communication.

'Bedroom' is a figure of speech. I think that he is a one man band though.

I ordered a Turbo and injectors at a competitive price from Scott @ flat4online just over a year ago and they took over a month to turn up even though I was promised next day delivery and several emails telling me they had been despatched when they had'nt! When they did finally turn up I was missing a fuel pump which was free if you spent over £1k, more emails and about a week later the fuel pump turned up with a poor excuse for not being sent previously. All sorted in the end but I did'nt like being lied to about when things would turn up and had been despatched. I can't fault the products but due to the poor customer service I will never use flat4online again.
I found the best was to deal with him was by bombarding him with emails and also definatly voice your experience on forums like SN.

probably a victim of their own success.

also if they dont have a massive stock overhead, you can understand the process of clearing money, buying in the bits, and then distributing them.

if they were clear about delivery dates i'm sure they would get less grief.

glad its all sorted

Fraid not. Scoty does indeed work from his own bedroom......which is in his parents semi-detatched.
