Price too high?

Went to the dealers today to have a look at a impreza turbo. P reg, with 89k (Motorway milage) on the clock. Wants £8995, do you reckon its too much with that milage.

Hi, i dont claim to no much about the prices, but i got my 94 turbo import with extras' for £8000 1 year ago. It had 36,000 miles on the clock. I think that is a little to high with the mileage as well.

p.s. has it any extra's?

Yeah thats more of a realistic figure I would have said about £8000 that would be a top price i would pay. If i was buying I would also get the aa or rac to give it a full check too.
good luck.

I bought an N reg 1996 UK Turbo 5door from a dealer this time last year... for £8300 with 73,000miles with fssh etc... with air con, sunroof, and spotless... but it was up in the dealer for £9995..
You need to haggle....
I'd say with the extra miles and a 6months different in time comparing age of cars and time etc.. probably worth about £7800 to £8000. But the 5doors sell slower hence my haggling fell on listening ears..
I used the Glasses guide price as remember this is what the insurance use mopst to pay out... I wasn't willing to pay more than the insurance would pay me... lost out once already.
But then again I was a cash sale..... if you have part exchange it makes a difference.
