Default gearbox removal

i am in the process of removing my gearbox from a impreza awd turbo.everything has been unbolted but the gearbox will not separate from the engine enough to remove the unit.i was wandering if the clutch fork has to be removed as it is still in place at the moment.any sugestions welcomed.

.There is a small cap on the box, remove the cap on the right hand side of the gearbox(from front of engine)it's a 10mm allen key needed iirc. You then need to screw a 6mm bolt into the clutch pivot pin and withdraw it. If you don't do this you won't be able to seperate the engine from the gearbox,hope thats of help

FYI I always use a large washer to screw the M6 bolt against to force the pin out
