NO NO NO unless your going to spend thousands on a proper respray keep it the same. Well unless also your never going to sell it and drive it until it falls apart.

A cheap respray will seriously effect the re-sale value of a car. If its done properly (i.e. engine out) then yes thats cool.. but otherwise keep it the same colour

i wsa going to change the front bumper anyhoow.
remove the doors and rear bumper and spray them, remove the boot and spray that along with the bonnet.
I have a pair of lightweight wings from my old scooby left over which i can spray black and fit.
That just leaves the roof and rear wings to spray.
time to chase a couple of my mates who can spray for some cash in hand me feels.

Don't change the colour, unless you go for something really different/unusual. It will affect the value, however, if you've gone to the trouble of a respray in an unusual colour then you may attract a different market.

kawasaki green!!!!!
if you want to do something different go for something you haven't seen
as for engine out, the trend now seems to be for black engine bays regardless of the colour of the car

Was a friends car..Yes the wheels are photoshoped white to see what they looked like; they were gold..
Personally I think unless you can do a proper job, i.e. strip the car completely to prep all the door shuts, engine bay and boot you shouldnt bother.

I recently changed the colour of my scooby from black to red (not just any red ), and dont regret it one bit, but would agree with most when they say go for something a bit different rather than a standard colour!
Engine bay on a red car would def. need to be done, i didn't change mine as i would rather it was black anyway, jut my choice though!
Good luck with it though

IMHO the best standard colours are the metalic blues: WR blue, Pro-drive blue and DBM..
And the best colour that suits the Impreza the most has got to be the RB5 metalic grey..
