A new international posting charge will be introduced in the near future, this is to cover our overheads. The tariffs are below.
UK/Europe posters: £2 per post for your first 100 posts, every post after that is £4.50 per post plus 50p postage and packing which ensures your post will reach our servers in very good condition. Insurance is free to UK and European posters.
USA posters: £100 per post for your first 100 posts plus £650 postage and packing, this guarentees that your post will reach our servers but we cannot guarentee its condition when it arrives there. This does not include insurance, if you don`t take out the insurance we cannot guarentee that your post will reach our servers in excellent original condition. Insurance is £20 per word.
Many thanks for your time, we hope to implement this change very soon.
Yours

Here's a new task for everyone to try.
The next time someone offers you more than what you're asking for something, remember the 'stuart' incident.
Make sure you flatly refuse to make any sort of profit. Infact, because we are all such nice people, let's all just give all our old scooby parts away, regardless of market conditions!
There are some very, very nieve people on this forum.

Yes, he should have insured it. The there would have been no problem.
If someone is willing to pay more than what something is worth, then so be it.
Look at house prices for f&ck sake.

Whats house prices got to do with posting 2 door cards to the USA ?
The lad is a rip off merchant, end of story! He took advantage of someone that didn`t have access to 2 door cards in the USA and then fleeced him in every possible way from making money on the packing and judging by his postage charge he must have booked the parcel onto first class seats on virgin atlantic.
