Any idea or opinion
Hello
Anybody got any comments about this car or any knowledge of it. The dealer doesn’t know anything about the background or history other than it has had a new engine. The Car is a WRX STI4 according to the model code, and the engine has API stickers.

dont think it should be an r plate on a 99.mine is a jan 99 and is an S reg and mine is a version 5 thats a V4 so probably a 97-98 model.Front grille is smaller, interior is different on earlier ver 4 and more importantly the engines are different.Ver 5/99 models were phase 2 engines and ecu's could be remapped with ecutek, earlier ones couldnt

We can only search it on our systems by customer - or previous owner - name. NOT by reg number. I don't recognise the car particularly, but we see an awful lot of cars per month and silver ones aren't particularly rare.
